The Opportunity.

Looking for a new way to reach fans?
Gamify your new single with Hidden Bands.

People play Hidden Bands. Those people become your new superfans. An interactive, Augmented-reality music discovery game* for iOS and Android.

And it goes a little something like this…

Find the Song.
Players find your unreleased single, hidden somewhere in the real world.
Rate the tune.
Players listen to your song and give it a rating.
Reset the trap.
Players hide your song in a new location for someone else to find.

*If you need the real world comparison, think geocaching meets Pokemon Go. But with good music and no nerds.

Get your track into the hands of new fans in a way that’s actually fun.

Our players love unearthing music that nobody else has heard of yet.
They’re the fans that discover artists ‘before they got famous’. The ones who want the newest song first.

Reach fans authentically.

Unique distribution model: Streaming platforms’ “Song of the Day” is just someone else’s opinion of what’s cool. Why can’t fans decide for themselves? Hidden Bands lets music fans discover in a way that’s original, memorable and fun.

Direct fan engagement: One-click email lists give you access to every Hidden Bands player who has opted in. You can connect directly with your new fans, keeping them in the know about new releases and tour dates.

Get the information that matters most to a touring band.

Forget the guessing game and join our game. Hidden Bands artists get real data insights that help to inform everything—from your sound (if you care what people think), to promotional strategy, and tour planning.

The proof’s in the stats.

Unbiased feedback: Wish you knew what people really think about your sound? Hidden Bands keeps your identity anonymous for the first two weeks of gameplay. Players hear and rate your unreleased music without being influenced by the critics, pesky music bloggers or their friends’ opinions.

Insights for tours: Band Dashboard analytics show you where your song is getting the most play and where you’re getting the most positive feedback, so you can plan gigs and tours where your fans are.

Pre-launch hype: Add horsepower to your launch strategy. After your song has been in the game for two weeks, your identity is announced—but your track has already gotten plenty of action. You’ll get a leg up on promotion.

What’s required from the band?

Bands and artists who want to submit songs to Hidden Bands can apply on our Submission page. If you’re chosen, you’ll receive instructions on how to create your Artist Page, as well as access to your Band Account Dashboard.

The Artist Page.

Here’s where you can connect your new fans with your album for purchase on whatever platform you’re using.

Customizable to include:

  • Two photos
  • Band logo and bio
  • Outbound links (website, iTunes, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, etc.)

And don’t forget about your Artist Dashboard, which includes:

  • Cassette location map
  • Detailed analytics
  • Fan outreach

You always maintain all rights and ownership of your material.

Hidden Bands ‘borrows’ the track for a maximum of four weeks of gameplay. For the first two weeks, your identity is anonymous. For the final two weeks, players can see your identity and song name, and access your Artist Page.

You’ll gain knowledge and power, though.
And data is priceless.

Wow. You read it all. You in or what?
