Artist Bio

Celebrated for his work with a diverse set of groups, from the folk-rock leaning Penny Blacks to the highly influential New Brunswick punk bands NotFunnyAnymore and Hospital Grade, Jason Ogden is one of the most literate, and individual, voices in East Coast rock. Known for his powerful lyrical descriptions, and casual, collected vocal delivery, Ogden’s work has received several accolades, including a recent nomination for SOCAN song of the year. Branching out with his own soon-to-be-titled forthcoming full-length solo album (the first full-album under his own name), Jason Ogden welcomes guest appearances from Steve Lambke (Constantines), Jim MacAlpine (North of America), Chad Peck (Kestrels), and many more. As a result, the tracks take on an experimental approach, allowing Ogden to step back and bask in the freedom of pure collaboration.
